Moving Garage Tools and Equipment

Men on the Move has been helping people move into their new apartments or homes for over 30 years! While we have made many blogs posts about how to move certain items or moving tips, we have not discussed moving garage tools and equipment!

Moving Garage Tools and Equipment

Men on the Move will move certain items depending on what needs to be moved. We are will to move heavier equipment like; floor jacks, generators or portable air conditioners and heaters. However, we will not do disassembly. That means, if you want to move work out equipment or other heavy equipment attached to something, they need to be broken down before we will move them. This ensure that the item is taken apart correctly and you can secure loose pieces prior to moving.

With this in mind, Men on the Move will move everything from tool boxes to shelving units. Although, we will not move tool boxes over 5,000 pounds. If you want your garage tools and equipment to be handle a specific way, we strongly recommend you packing your own boxes and organizing them to your preference. We also suggest grouping items together so all related tools and items are in the same area. This makes it much more easier on you when you unpack and get settled.we move disassembled exercise equipment

Items We Will Not Move

While Men on the Move will help you move most things from your garage, we are unable to move certain items. We know many people keep items from their gardens or cars, but some of the equipment or items will not be moved by our moving company. This includes:

  • Car Batteries
  • Charcoal
  • Fertilizer
  • Oils
  • Pesticides
  • Poisons

We hope this answers some questions you may have and it helps in planning your move. Please contact us if you have other questions or concerns
